I have read a lot of Lani Lynn Vale"s books and I've really loved them all some of course more than others but I have to say this this book is in my top 3. It. hit me more emotionally than any of the other books I've read in a very long time. Foster is great , missing a piece of his leg or not he is pure Alpha just like I love my heros. And I loved Blake sweet,strong and someone who doesn't let life kick her without kicking back. It was a total romance with action and passion in spades. What made me an emotional wreck was the relationship between Blake and her Daddy. Her daddy was a badass state cop who loved his daughter to pieces and Blake was a daddy's girl through in through. When her father died I cried because I myself was a daddy's girl and new exactly how she felt. At the end when the priest reads a letter to her and Foster from her Daddy as they are about wed I cried. It was so well said and perfect for the couple to hear. I really do enjoy when a book sucks me into its universe and makes me feel apart of the story. This one was terrific.

All I can say is Charlie Foxtrot is by far my favorite of these series. I’m not surprised that Lani Lyne Vale has done it again with this book, but she is truly a talented writer/author.

This is the story of Foster and Blake both dealing with different things in their life right now. Foster is angry at everything and everyone is on edge around him. Since losing his half of his leg it has changed him into an angry bitter man. Blake is learning to move on from life she thought was meant to last, but instead had to deal with an ex-husband who cheated on her and humiliated her in front of her so called friends. I love how their relationship developed over time, which it became easy for both of them to be around each other. Don’t get me wrong Foster was dealing with issues due to his leg, but I could feel how Blake never let his injury affect what they had. In this book you’ll get a really good storyline as well some drama, but as well some really HOT sex scenes that will make you put down your kindle for just a little bit to fan yourself. Throughout the story these two are constantly dealing with someone trying to hurt them or dealing with an ex who wanted nothing more too humiliated Blake all over again. I loved seeing how Foster opened up to Blake and eventually how much he loved Blake was shown to her.

I’m a sucker for a good book this book did it for me. While reading it, I did cry a little cause; I felt what these characters are going through. It was nice to read a book that evolved around there careers, but how it affects them outside of the job. I could feel the pain of what it was like to be hurt by others actions and how it took a toll on everyone around them. It was nice to see past characters from her other books in the story as well. It’s always good to see everyone getting along and how much they are about family in the end.

Just one click it don't think about it go get this book today and I promise you’ll love it as much as, I did. From page one till the end, I was hooked and couldn’t put it down at all. I’ve been reading Lani Lynn Vale books from the beginning and will continue to do so.
Foster Spurlock lost his leg doing what he does best, taking care of other people. The day he lost his leg he lost a lot more than that. The fun loving and joking part of him left and was replaced by a gruff and hard man. He had a deep burning anger within him now, something that had taken over within him. But he had determination that he would be one hundred percent and return to the KPD SWAT team.
Blake Rhodes was a twenty-four year old divorcee. She had been a door mat for her ex for too long. Now she was starting a new life and new job on her own. She had a supportive family. Except her mom, she was more of a stand by your man type. Blake had done that for too long. She marched to the beat of her own drum now. She was kind of quirky, had her own dress style, and told some bad jokes but she liked herself. She was starting her new life with a new job and a hope for a better life.
When Foster and Blake first met fireworks were going off. In the form of Blake telling Foster exactly what she thought of his ticket writing skills. If it had been anyone else Foster would of been all gruffy professional but Blake not only shocked him but she also amused him. Little did he know he would be seeing her a lot more when she starts her new job. After a few kinks in the road they finally warmed up to each other in a standoffish way. Foster was still amused and didn't know what she would do next. Blake was so attracted to Foster and couldn't figure out why he was so bossy. Just as they are trying to get beyond the past a whole new set of threats appear along with the mounting sexual tension between them. Can they conquer their past to move on to a future?
Charlie Foxtrot is another great book for Lani Lynn Vale. I loved the way she blended past characters out of her other series in with Charlie Foxtrot. It was like visiting old friends.
Foster is the whole package as a hero. He has courage, determination, and is sexy as sin. Blake totally holds her own. She is strong and brave and has a heart of gold. The romance scenes are off the charts hot. The foreplay is tantalizingly teasing. Can't wait for the next one. Great job Lani Lynn Vale.
